This policy explains which cookies and local storage new.renterus.com, the Renterus web platform, uses and how you can manage them. The information website www.renterus.com has its own cookie policy.

In short: we only use technical, first-party cookies that are needed for the platform to work. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies.

1What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser to remember information between one visit and the next or between one page and the next, such as the fact that you have signed in or the language you have chosen.

2Cookies we use

They are all first-party cookies (set by RENTERUS SOFTWARE S.L.) and technical:

CookieWhat it is forDuration
user_tokenKeeps you signed in while you use the platform.Up to 8 hours, or until you sign out
session_ends_atStores when the session expires, so that it can be closed in time.Same as the session
inspector_tokenSession for the Labor Inspectorate access portal. Only set on that portal.Up to 12 hours
langRemembers the language you have chosen.1 year
themeRemembers whether you use the light or dark theme.1 year

3Browser local storage

As well as cookies, the platform saves some data in your browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to make it easier to use:

  • screen preferences, such as columns, filters, sort order or open panels;
  • drafts of forms you are filling in, so that you do not lose them if you reload the page;
  • your email on the sign-in screen, only if you choose to have it remembered;
  • notices you have already seen, so that they are not shown again.

This data stays on your device, is not used to track you and you can delete it whenever you like in your browser settings.

4Third-party services

Some screens show Google Maps (for example, the location of a property or a transfer). When they load, Google may collect technical data, such as your IP address, and use its own cookies or similar technologies under its privacy policy. Google Maps only loads on the screens that use it.

When you view or sign PDF documents, the platform downloads the technical library that displays them from public content delivery networks (unpkg and cdnjs). These services receive your IP address, like any web server, but do not set cookies.

The channel manager screen loads the component of SU, our channel management provider, from its own server (static.otaswitch.com). When it loads, SU receives your IP address and may use its own cookies or local storage for the component to work.

5Why we do not ask for your consent

Technical cookies and the preference cookies you choose yourself (language and theme) are exempt from consent under Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE): without them we could not provide the service you ask us for. That is why we do not show a cookie notice.

If we ever add other types of cookies, such as analytics cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

6How to manage or delete them

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings:

Please note that if you block session cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the platform.

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, see the Privacy policy or write to us at legal@renterus.com.

7Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the version and date in its header.
